BCCI – आईपीएल—जहां हर साल कुछ नया आता है। कभी impact player rule, कभी slow over rate penalties… और अब एक ऐसा नियम, जो सुनने में छोटा लगता है, लेकिन dressing room dynamics पूरी तरह बदल सकता है।
अब मैदान पर “कौन जा सकता है” ये भी strictly तय होगा।
नया नियम—simple भाषा में समझें
BCCI ने साफ कर दिया है:
- मैच के दौरान सिर्फ वही खिलाड़ी मैदान पर जा सकते हैं
- जिनका नाम match-day squad (16 players) में शामिल है
मतलब:
- extra squad members (25 में से बाकी खिलाड़ी)
- अब drinks, messages या bats लेकर मैदान में नहीं आ सकते
और सिर्फ इतना ही नहीं—boundary के आसपास भी restriction लगा है।
boundary line पर भी count होगा—“5 player rule”
Crickbuzz की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक:
- किसी भी समय boundary rope के पास अधिकतम 5 खिलाड़ी ही रह सकते हैं
- ये 5 खिलाड़ी:
- playing XI से हो सकते हैं
- या 16-member squad में से
बाकी?
- dugout में बैठेंगे
- लेकिन boundary line और advertising boards के बीच नहीं आ सकते

क्यों लाया गया ये नियम?
Official reason तो नहीं बताया गया, लेकिन ground पर जो लोग हैं, वो कुछ clear संकेत दे रहे हैं।
1. game flow control
बहुत बार देखा गया है:
- हर ओवर के बाद multiple players मैदान पर आ जाते हैं
- messages, drinks, discussions
इससे:
- game slow होता है
- rhythm टूटती है
अब BCCI शायद इसे streamline करना चाहता है।
2. unfair advantage रोकना?
ये angle थोड़ा subtle है।
जब:
- बार-बार messages आते हैं
- strategies real-time बदलती हैं
तो कुछ teams इसे aggressively use करती हैं।
अब restriction से:
- on-field decision making बढ़ेगी
- captain और players को खुद adjust करना होगा
3. visual clutter भी issue था
कभी ध्यान दिया है?
- boundary line के पास 8-10 bib पहने खिलाड़ी
- staff, substitutes, confusion
TV broadcast में भी ये messy लगता था।
अब cleaner look मिलेगा—जो broadcasters के लिए भी important है।
rules में पहले से क्या लिखा था?
IPL playing conditions में पहले भी guidelines थीं।
Clause 11.5.2
- drinks allowed हैं
- लेकिन:
- umpire की permission जरूरी
- time waste नहीं होना चाहिए
Clause 24.1.4
- non-playing squad members:
- bib पहनकर रहेंगे
- defined area में ही रहेंगे
अब नया tweak ये है कि इन rules को strictly enforce किया जा रहा है।
teams पर क्या असर पड़ेगा?
पहली नजर में ये छोटा change लगता है… लेकिन impact real है।
1. communication limited होगा
पहले:
- हर ओवर में instructions आ सकते थे
अब:
- limited opportunities
- concise messaging जरूरी
2. captain की role बढ़ेगी
अब:
- on-field calls ज्यादा important
- instant decisions without external input
यानी classic cricket feel थोड़ा वापस आएगा।
3. bench players का involvement कम
पहले:
- substitutes भी actively engaged रहते थे
अब:
- उनका role passive हो जाएगा
- सिर्फ जरूरत पड़ने पर ही मैदान में entry
players क्या सोच रहे हैं?
अभी तक public reactions कम हैं, लेकिन team sources के मुताबिक:
- कुछ teams इसे unnecessary restriction मान रही हैं
- कुछ इसे fair मान रही हैं—“same rule for everyone”
और honestly, players जल्दी adapt कर लेते हैं—ये भी exception नहीं होगा।
क्या ये permanent रहेगा?
अगर ये rule:
- game flow improve करता है
- controversies कम करता है
तो chances हैं कि:
- ये long-term part बन जाए IPL का
- और शायद international cricket में भी adopt हो
ICC पहले भी IPL innovations पर नजर रखता है—impact player इसका example है।
